Alli Owens Tries To Make A NASCAR Name For Herself
NASCAR's Drive for Diversity has introduced a lot of young racers to the sport who might not have gotten a chance to show their skills otherwise. Women have been in NASCAR for years, but with Danica Patrick making noise by joining Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JR Motorsports, it seems that more attention is being put on the women of racing than ever before.
The problem is that NASCAR is not paying attention to the right women. Patrick has had her chance in the best equipment and has shown repeatedly that she could not get the job done. There is a female racer out there who is getting the experience and has been working her way up through the ranks the traditional way and deserves an opportunity.
