Top five Formula One teams ever
In the more than 60 years that Formula One has sanctioned Grand Prix races under their banner, several teams have written and continue to write the record books with the best drivers the sport has ever seen. It's hard to argue accomplishment. This top five list is based on constructors championships, World Driving Championships and the teams ability to lure and retain the best drivers in Formula One history.
1. Ferrari - The Italian team was formed by Enzo Ferrari back in 1929 and since the inaugural year of F1 racing has accumulated 16 constructors championship placing them at the top of the list. They have also had drivers who won 15 driving championships including the eight years of the first decade of the 21st century except 2006 and 2009. Ferrari's drivers have included champions such as Juan Manuel Fangio, Kimi Raikkonen, Gille Villeneuve and Mario Andretti and of course, Michael Schumacher.
