My involvement in the sport dates back to the beginning of NASCAR's modern era. Kevin Harvick Steps Up For Foster Children

The Kevin Harvick Foundation's Christmas for Kids Concert


NASCAR and music have gone hand in hand from almost the beginning. In recent years bands and artists from rock to country have adorned the hoods of NASCAR Sprint Cup cars including the Three Doors Down, Brooks and Dunn and Kid Rock. Others like Zac Brown Band and James Otto have played pre-race concerts and sang the National Anthem at NASCAR events.


NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick is joining music and racing together again this Thursday, December 16th at Johnny and June's Ultra Saloon for the Kevin Harvick Foundation Christmas For Kids Concert. This special concert presented by 93.1 The Wolf will benefit Foster Friends of North Carolina and The Kevin Harvick Foundation. Proceeds will go to the benefit of foster children in Forsyth and Guilford Counties in North Carolina.

Ever since I followed NASCAR, Harvick has been my second favorite driver only to Jimmie Johnson. (I started following the sport in 2003). Anyway, this is great what he is doing. I also like how Kid Rock is supportive to foster children. I have always loved how they are supportive of the military. This is a great story, and I appreciate that you posted this.
