Strong female drivers make waves at Daytona Speed Weeks
NASCAR is in search of that next female racer who has what it takes to compete with the guys and this might be the year that the women of NASCAR racing take their place. It's been a long time since the days of Janet Guthrie. Her name made the hair on the backs of other NASCAR competitors stand on end back in the 1970s. Not because she was a woman, but because when Guthrie showed up at the track she was threat for a top ten start and a top ten finish.
