Starting Lineup for the 2011 NASCAR Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway
Carl Edwards blistered the track qualifying record at Phoenix International Raceway circling the track in 26.224 seconds at a speed of 137.279 miles per hour. In fact, the top fifteen qualifiers topped the previous track record that was held by today's pole winner Edwards who continues his recent domination in Phoenix. Kurt Busch will sit on the outside of row one continuing to show the strength of his Penske Dodge after Daytona. Other surprises in the top ten in qualifying for the Subway Fresh Fit 500 include the Chevrolet of Regan Smith. The former NASCAR Sprint Cup Rookie of The Year is having the best season start that he has ever had after qualifying and running up front for the Daytona 500 and now qualifying fifth at Phoenix.
