No NASCAR conspiracy to help Earnhardt Jr.

NASCAR conspiracy theorists had a monkey wrench thrown into their theories this afternoon at Daytona International Speedway. As cars finally came out for NASCAR Sprint Cup practice after another long rain delay, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was caught up in a spin between Jimmy Johnson and Martin Truex Jr.


The car of Jamie McMurray and several others were coming up to speed after coming out on the track as Johnson, Earnhardt Jr., and Truex came up on them at full speed. Johnson was forced to check his brakes causing Earnhardt to check up. Truex was left with no where to go and hit Earnhardt from behind. Earnhardt and Truex spun down into the infield.
