I Eat, Sleep and Breathe NASCAR!! I have raced in several divisions on the local level and been a crew member for a NASCAR Modified Tour competitor. My involvement in the sport dates back to the beginning of NASCAR's modern era. VIDEO: The Worst Wreck In NASCAR History!

Everybody watches NASCAR for the thrills. It could be the racing action, the fights or the crashes. Since the death of Dale Earnhardt, the cars have become safer and the safety devices used by drivers have improved drastically.

This is a wreck that has to be in the top 10 of all NASCAR wrecks. Its not the flipping...its total disintegration. Michael Waltrip was pushed up into the wall at Bristol in 1990. His car hit the track entrance gate at full throttle. Amazingly, he stepped from the car without any injuries. I saw this car at the Motorsports Hall Of Fame at Talladega. It sits there in three pieces.
