Kyle Busch Penalized for Unsportsmanlike Conduct
Kyle Busch started the AAA Texas 500 fourth place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Points Championship. Busch had every chance to make significant gains in the standings, just 230 points behind, if he could run as well as he did after winning the CW Truck race on Friday or Saturday after he finished in second place in the Nationwide Series race.
NASCAR's newest bad boy was once again his own worst enemy. Busch stayed in contention and ran in the top ten for the first half of the race at Texas. He raced competitors hard, allowing teammate and title contender Denny Hamlin ample time to work on his car and make a run to the front.
