This blog has gone through some changes over the years, but since I have taken it over I have tried to keep you informed in the subjects that interest me and you both. Now that I have completed a final edit on MADDIE & MOOK AND THE MESSAGE IN THE BOTTLE, I invite you on the journey to the finale which will hopefully be a book contract and a published childrens book. I welcome any and all constructive comments, and look forward to taking you on this journey with me.

Jimmy Wayne fights for the forgotten children of the foster care system

Readers may not know this, but my wife and I have been approved to adopt in the South Carolina adoption system for two years. We have also been on the foster family list for half of that time. We have not found a child yet, but we keep our hopes up. When I first heard about Jimmy Wayne’s Meet Me Halfway, it struck very close to my heart.
